It has a flat-bottom with diameter of about 5”-6”, which allows the pan to sit well on grills, glass stoves, gas, and electric stoves. You don’t need a ring to use this wok. With a depth of four inches, the wok is deep enough to allow foods to be cooked without splattering. Also, with such a depth, it can hold a lot of food; a serving of a few people.
